I believe he was selected by the entrenched establishment based on his pure political talent. Mamdani is a great face to have to distract from the real issues. He has delivered on superficial promises but whatever he can’t achieve he gives an eloquent speech and runs an effective social media campaign. Eventually you have to look behind the facade and check the record.
